Melissa Tipton, DO, FAAP

Dr. Tipton is a Board Certified Pediatrician who joined our practice in October 2021. She attended medical school at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, AR in June of 2021.

She developed a love for kids quickly in medical school. The best part of her job is helping children grow into healthy and happy adults. She enjoys having conversations with parents and patients to ease their concerns and believes in treating the whole patient physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

She and her husband, Drey, make their home in Apison, Tennessee. She has one child, Eloise and is currently expecting her second baby. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to church, watching sports, traveling, and hiking in the beautiful outdoors.
